This Morning

This morning we woke up to four inches of wet, heavy snowman-quality snow.  So today instead of a playdate with school friends and afternoon class at preschool, we will most likely be making a trip to the library, cooking some chicken soup, and heading out to construct the first snowman of the year.

What do you like to do when it snows?

(Oh, and stop by Heidi's for a giveaway from me!!)

  1. I loved waking up to snow this morning too! I think we had about 3" when I left for work. I didn't love the drive though :-/ Enjoy your snow day...we haven't had many!

  2. so so pretty. still snowing here. awesome snowman snow.

i like to get out and tromp about the field in the snow. if I had a sled......didn't I get that yet?.........nothing beats a good sleigh ride down the hill in the field.

i like just being out in it.......even if it's just to shovel.

I love to read while curled up in a blanket, and also to take long walks.

  7. Beautiful photos!! It makes me miss the north. I grew up in Canada, but I'm a South Carolina girl now. But I always loved looking out the window to scenes like these. Beautiful!

  9. I am SO jealous of your snow. We have about 15 flakes fall one day while we were running errands, but that's it. Barely covered the ground.

  10. ooo.. snow! I love the snow. I just like to walk through it or just look at it from my window. When I was younger we used to go sledding all the time. We are expecting some snow tomorrow but it may just rain.
